On the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026, which is also the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the education sector, President Luong Cuong sent a letter to the education sector and teachers and students across the country.
In the letter, the President sent to generations of teachers, administrators, workers working in the education sector through the periods, along with students, pupils, students, and parents his warm, friendly feelings and best wishes on the occasion of the new school year.
The President mentioned that 80 years ago, in the historic autumn, Uncle Ho sent a letter to students on the first day of school when our country had just gained independence. He entrusted his immense love and strong belief that the young generation of Vietnam will lead the country to glory, standing shoulder to shoulder with the great powers of the five continents.
His sacred wish still resonates, reminding students to constantly study and practice, to be worthy of the sacrifices and contributions of previous generations, to contribute to the cause of protecting, building and developing the country.
The President highly appreciated the efforts of teachers and students nationwide who overcame difficulties and challenges to achieve achievements in many aspects in the previous school year. The 2025-2026 school year takes place in a new context when the whole country arranges administrative units, implements the two-level local government model, and is also the first school year to implement Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.
The President expressed his wish: “The education sector will successfully implement the theme of the school year: Discipline – Creativity – Breakthrough – Development, continue to aim for the goal of forming and comprehensively developing people in terms of knowledge, ethics, skills, courage and aspirations, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the country in the era of the Vietnamese people’s rise”.
The President also expressed his belief in the continuous learning, training, and nurturing of dreams of students, pupils, and trainees across the country and hoped that teachers, managers, and workers in the education sector would always maintain the flame of enthusiasm, love for the profession, constantly innovate, create, and build a happy learning environment for students.
